MHC Healthcare is seeking a Thrift Store Associate to join our team at the Cotton Blossom Resale Store, located adjacent to the Dove Mountain Health Center in Marana, AZ.  MHC Healthcare is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center (FQHC), with 15 sites in Tucson and Pima County.  MHC Healthcare is building a world-class integrated health care system that is committed to caring for special populations, and focused on improving health outcomes for our patients.  The Thrift Store Associate (Associate) is responsible for assisting in the daily retail operation and solicitation of donations in the Cotton Blossom Thrift Store. Associate will drive a company van to pick up, load, transport, and unload donated goods, including furniture and other heavy items. Donation pick-up and delivery will comprise 75-85% of workday.  Associate may also assist in the processing and sales of merchandise, in store and online. Builds relationships in the community through grassroots marketing tactics determined by management staff, and provides excellent customer service and employee relations to all present.  Anticipated work schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 8:00am - 4:30pm. 


The ideal candidate will have the following education and experience:

  • High school diploma or GED; required.
  • One (1) year of retail sales or customer service experience; required.
  • One (1) year delivery and/or pick up experience; preferred.
  • Possess a valid AZ Driver’s License and proof of current motor vehicle insurance; required.
  • Must provide current 39 month AZ Driver License Motor Vehicle Record, and meet driver insurability criteria; required.
  • 21 years of age; preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft office products and QuickBooks; preferred.
  • E-Sales experience; preferred.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 
  • Possess Point of Sale system (POS) experience.
